Bought myself a dandy new ultra-light spinning rod. How better to christen it than with a trip to the Blue River in Johnston County, Oklahoma? The slower, therefore warmer, stretches of the river are just full of Spotted Bass. Top waters in the morning and evening, small soft plastic craws and Superfluke Jr.s throughout the day.
