Thanks for the kind words. After seeing the work you, Allen, Carl and Mike have posted, I was actually a little hesitant about posting. I am way out of practice and even when I tied a lot it was 90% one fly - GRHE. That was my go to when I lived in CO. After I moved to NC, I tied a few SW streamers out of poly feather duster that caught blues when I stripped fast or flounder when I dragged them on the bottom. I tried some topwater bass stuff, but never got good at spinning hair and kind of shelved it, switching to spin fishing. Why it didn't occur to me sooner that I could tie jigs I don't know.

Yup Marabou is just about my top choice for materials and New Age Chenille a close second Andy. Great looking jigs by the way....

I've been tying some jigs for a swap on another board.  What I've been tying are VERY similar to the white/red/whites I called out.  My tails are nice and long, about 2".  Some big jigs targeting big fish.

Your marabou tails are fuller than the craft fur tails I've been tying lately.  However, for a basic marabou tail, they're plenty full enough.

Oh yeah; the left center teardrop white/red/white is a tungsten #14 that I explicitly plan to bait, probably with Gulp waxies. Others may also get tipped, but on that one I tried to leave a bit of shank on.

Allen - do you think I went too sparse on others? I noticed you picked the long flowing marabou jigs. Upper right is result of trying to do too much in too little space. It's a #14 with a black tear drop tungsten head that didn't leave much shank. I almost snipped it all away instead of cementing but it looks really buggy even though it is far from symmetric.

Bottom left and middle left are definite fish-getters.

Mike, there's quite a few on this board.

A few jigs I tied in the last couple of days. The smallest are 1/80.
