That's a nice one. Its been pouring down rain here in Kentucky all day , but i had the chance to get out there when the lighting stop and caught a few nice gills for dinner tomorrow.

Well I didn't take but a second to hold him by the little jighead in the sunshine and snap a quick photo. Turned out pretty good and it's even in focus!

Michael... It's just the "Florida" subspecies of the Bluegill, known as a "Coppernose". Pretty common in the south. Several California lakes have planted them because they grow larger than the "Northern" BG. Beautiful fish, especially the males during spawning time like my fish.
