Age is a good question. I know from the fin clip and my records that I removed it from my BG breeding pond in 2010, and that it was somewhere from 8 1/2" to 9 3/4" at that time.

Well done Theo!! As much as the coppernose BG have been featured here lately, it's nice to see a northern strain giant once in a while. (Not that I have anything against southern BG!)
Any idea of that fish's age?
