Actually. I know almost nothing as to the top end size of long eared sunfish...10,11 inches?

Hey Jim, Thanks for the nice words about my Seeds but they still don't compare with that huge Bull Gill you nabbed.....As my Screen name implies, my favorite panfish to catch are huge Gills!!! I think you are absolutely right in that it appears to be a P-Seed/Long Ear Hybrid, as it is indeed missing the bright red or orange border to its Gillflap!! Do you know how large the trophy Long Ears get (just curious, as I don't think I've caught any that I'm aware of)?!

Hey Warrior...thats a huge fish! You may have a long-ear/ pumpkinseed natural hybrid there.The extended gillflap leads me to think long ear as I do not see the red or orange
edge' on the gillflap of those colorful seeds you've been catching. Great fish! Happy Memorial Day!
