5 wt fly rod build
The insert for the reel is marked so the flat part where the reel sits is lined up with the spine of the rod. The wood was reamed to get a perfect fit. It is attached with 5 min epoxy. The rod blank was scuffed with sand paper to give the epoxy something to bite into.
