Do you love big bluegill?
45 degree water 4/1/14
Tried pulling /hopping jigs on bottom and pulling the smallest Johnson Silver Minnow/Blue Fox rubber minnow to no follow ups . The fish are back there under the ice waiting for warmer shallows I presume .
The next day , 42 degrees in nw cove ,45/46 degrees in ne pipe inlet spot .Still no fish in sight .Threw 32nd oz.Bucktail jig, tiny Johnson spoon /Bluefox rubber fishtrailor ,Reaper/Bucktail .
