Thank you for the compliments. I have both the Fat Cat and Fish Cat#4
Although not advertised as such, I feel the #4 is a much more practicle and user friendly tube. I'm not totally comfortable with single fill valve even though the foam seat is helpfull for extra flotation.
I once put a hook through a float on the #4 for a slow leak. Untill I got some patch material, I took the flexible hose from the pump and left it in the valve. A couple puffs of air by mouth every hour or so and all was well. I tried that on the Fat Cat and so called improved valves won't let me get air through while sitting in it. The material covering the Fat Cat seems a bit lighter also but I could be wrong with the Yellow Fat Cat and dark blue #4. Fat Cat well named, I got mine because of my 220 weight that I plan to pare some . (plan lol ) Mike
