While I was caging a nice fat bluegill, my partner rescued my pole from leaping over the gunnel, and captured this 16" Crappie!

Nice fish. How long was it? My son in-law and I just got back from a three day camping/ fishing trip. We had a blast but were less than productive as a cold front came thru three days before. He caught a 13 and 14 inch crappie. My biggest was 13 inches. Again really nice fish. Congrats...

Nice Crappie , what did he take. Do you miss the hard water or are happy with the soft water. I looks a lot warmer there now. Great pic.
