I catch fish most every day. My digital camera and computer don't talk, so I have trouble posting them. Checking out cellphones with cameras though. If I find what I want, I'll get one and post pictures. The Bluegills I catch in the creek are from 4-6". Catfish 5-8". Haven't caught any bass in there, though the lake is supposed to have them. Do bass stay on the bottom of the lake so they would be less prone to wash out the overflow?

yes, the creek is on my property. If fact, the previous owner just told us that about 300' on the other side of the property fence, it disappears into the ground. So, the fish can't go far. I get to keep them all. Actually, I move them from the creek to the pond where I can feed them and fatten them.

So is the creek just on lyour property and can the fish get out of it?

I feed the AquaMax to the fish in the bluegill pond twice a day, what they can eat in 10 minutes. I think the bass are a proven way to keep the bg from overpopulating. There were assorted fish left over from the previous owner in the pond, but I added 200 bg, and 25 bass. When the bass get 12" and I catch them, I will transfer them to the creek

That is what I would like to do as well, so if you have any advice please let me know.

Do you feed your Bluegill and do you think the Bass will keep the numbers down?

How many of each did you put in and what size were they when stocked and when did they get stocked?

What type of minnows do you have in it?

1/3 acre pond, 1 acre creek. In the pond I have 200 bluegill, redear, hybrid, and coppernose mixed. Also, 25 bass, minnows, assorted catfish left over from previous owner. In the creek, I have bluegill, catfish, anything else that overflows from the stocked lake across the street. It is my intent to raise bbg in the pond, big bass in the creek
