These little guys put up a nice fight.

I just wish they grew like CNBG and we would have a pond full of them.

Jeff, The sunlight was not that strong, we were in thunderstorm warnings.
You could see everything inside all the panfish we caught that day. They all were bright orange in or out of the water. It was really an Amazing place.

Wow! Very cool! But it looks like some of that bright orangish color is from the sunlight coming through the fishes' body. You can see it's spinal column. I see this all the time on smaller sized panfish. Still a pretty fish.

Nice! Head look like green sunfish and other part seem to be redbreast sunfish....not sure hybrid.....?

That is one gorgeous Oklahoma pumpkinseed. However it's actually a long-eared sunfish. Welcome to Big Bluegill!

It is a Beautiful colored fish, more so up close.
Maybe a Hybrid Pumpkin seed? Do not really know?
Caught in Oklahoma in the Arbuckle Mountain area in a backwoods creek.
Emerald Green waters so clear is was Amazing!
All the fish we caught that day had Amazing color and detail.
