Basically the big fish ive been tagging have come vertical jigging the thick weedlines and the dirty laydowns… check out the fight of this fish taking drag… I was really impressed.

there are many laydowns like this throughout this stretch of the resevoir

thanks guys!...

surprisingly most of the jumbo y.perch ive tagged more this year than any year previous have been in less than 4-0' FOW with weeds and/or weeds and wood fishing for b.gills. i believe they follow the minnows... minnows in this lake are shallow edges of the weedlines

looking at the Master Angler statistics for the county for this fish is 14" i came within 3/8" 3 times this year. only one fish has been certified in the past 10 years in my county... i would love to tag a 14" plus fish!
