John weve been nailing them on the tiny swim jigs less than 2 inches long on 1/64 jig heads in less than 3 ft of water. the jigs easily outproducing live bait in what we are experiencing.
just recently weve been doing alot of sight fishing... big panfish roaming the shallow weeds ... not on beds. personally i dont sight fish bedding fish just cruisers. the crappies seem to be bedding at a 50% level ... some males on nests. if we see nests we avoid the area.
