thanks Carl... really impressed with my cameras panoramic mode

the reservoirs and natural lakes around here get gin clear during certain times thru the seasons... it works against you most of the time when that happens... lighter lines and deeper presentations are often the norm then.

if you look at the picture full size the water is relatively clear ... which is unusual for this time of year... we usually have a few good rain episodes ... but that hasnt happened yet... just slow run off

it is the west leg and mouth of Wixom Lake this is the main branch of the Tobacco river as it empties into the wixom lake reservoir..... very good fishing spot ... you are right on with the roadrunner... one of my favorite baits along the bridge rip rap

looks like a couple spots i fish.try a roadrunner,a light one 1/32 with a bulky body tipped with something.that little thump and flash help them to find it and the fat plastic slows the fall. is this lake part of a flowage or river system?

the main channel ...about 10' deep is shown thawed

on the left is east... the guard rail on the road runs east and west. ... it is a good spawning site for sunfish from pseed to lm bass
