To me the big bait shines over an expanse of weedy flats .Calls them up also it's great on the aggressive fish .If I feel it's spooking fish I go smaller .I haven't had to use a stinger hook yet .

...we get some bite-offs fishing the small jigs by n.pike but we do hook and land alot of them. i guess that big bait puts the odds in your favor

That bait got 2 other Pickerel also , before the tail tore off .

Took a big Bait ,about a 3/8 oz spinner bait with a big blade and 4 or so inch Kalin Grub trailer . Great for long distance casting over the weedy flats and covering a lot of water .
