15" Crappie caught 3/31/2011

I went to Illinois yesterday to fish for White Bass using a jig and float. Caught some nice White's and hooked into this beautiful "Snubby", for the last fish of the day. My biggest Crappie so far this year.

Despite less than ideal conditions (stained water, drastic temperature fluctuations, etc.) the fish were biting pretty good.

Hope this is sign of things to come....
