I don't know But over the years my best catches have been made in the last hours of daylight. I have 2 spots that most people give up shore fishing the latter part of may I will hit them about 6:30 pm and fish till dark. The panfish will bite for about 2 hours then i will usally hit a few bass untill it is to dark to see. Maybe Jim Gronaw could answer that.
