I catch Red Breasted Sunfish that are similar looking in a creek up here in New Jersey .They are small and feisty too. Great looking fish you have there!

Its a longear. I live near a creek where you can pretty much catch them nonstop. They are one of the most colorful fish I have caught. They don't get very big, but they are feisty.
