Great fish! You know, I caught spawning gills this very day, 7-13-09, at a quarry that I just started fishing last week. They seem to all be in pretty good shape, not beat up and all. Even caught some females that were very full. For Mason-Dixon area fish, thats a late spawn.

Thanks for the comments and yes Musky as you pointed out the tails are pretty worn down from fanning the nests...I'm pretty sure it's from the 2nd Spawn!!!

Can't help but notice the damaged tail and dark pecs....second spawn session?....Nice Bull!
