Actually the bottom fish is a great inland lake perch ,if I remember right it was 11" from lake geneva through the ice.Phenomenal perchin ther in the winter,they do get bigger than that there though but i usually go after the crappies and gills there in the winter and skip the perch because you can literally go through hundreds of minnows til you get sizable perch.

That bottom one is a whopper! My neighbor came home with one yesterday that close to that size. Clarks Hill/Strom Thurmond Reservoir, SC
