What type of animal is a bluegill?
I do not own a pond yet. My boss put a pond in last fall and has put me in charge of stocking it and controlling it. He don't fish much but when he does it he enjoys it. It is my goal to have a great pond at his house and I have lots of questions on how to make that happen.

Found the illusive slabs.

This weekend and last I have been fishing Lake Latonka which is a private lake not far from my house. We have been catching allot of fish but not many slabs. Finally yesterday I left my comfort zone and went to the deeps. Didn't catch as many but what we caught were good ones. Just a little confused, I still can't find the monsters. Any Ideas where to look? I am out of ideas. During the spring we just knock the monsters to death. I know they are there I just cant find them.

I have been looking for a page like this and happy to find it. I am looking forward to adding some pictures and provide any advise I can to help out others in pursuit of slabs. I also have some questions about how to start out stocking a pond? Enough of that right now, I am just going to play around on this web site. Thanks!
