Gary I'm sorry if I misled you in any way that I'm a fly fisherman. I do own a few flyrods but really haven't put the effort in towards refining my skills I am an expert at wind knots though. We do have some great people on the site who really know how to fly fish and one that comes to mind Is Carl Hendrix who tries to keeps me going but there are so many more. I'm truly sorry I can't help  you I guess you can start a forum or someone might read this and jump right in there are many helpful people on this site who  love nothing more than to help you out. GOOD FISHIN and show us some of your catches we would love to have you share some of your pictures with us. 

Hi Garry !!  and welcome to bbg site !!  We  have several who fly fish;; Jen Nayfly; Greg Mc/Williams;; tooty; Allan Morgan; John Sheehan; and his brother Greg;  Mark Sleeper;; just to name a few.  and several of us also make flies; jigs; fishing floats; practically anything that might catch a blue gill !
