Hit Them Tonite

Sherry and I got out for a couple hours before dark.We went to the cove that I was fishing a couple days ago but didn't go in as far.I was the first to score,I got a nice gill that took me into the reeds and he broke off.I did this twice before I went to get my hip boots if we would get hung again.Sherry caught 4 while I was at the truck.Sherry was using a guinea jig tipped with a maggot while I was using the same for awhile before changing to a 1/80th oz louie jig in orange/white and blue/chart.We ended up catching around 40 gills with 5 crappies and 1 perch Sherry caught 1 crappie that was 11" with the others around 8-9"A friend of mine joined us later and he got into a few also.There were a few times we all had a fish on.
