This Year I want to get back to fishing some neglected Plastic worm varieties I use to Fish back in late 80's-mid 90's. Here are some swim worms that I recall coming into action in the Summer Months. The vertical Paddle Tail (Manns 8" Jelly worm) is not what I'd call a Swim Worm, but the rest are. Bottom to top: 8"Segmented Worm, 8" Culprit,7' Culprit knock off? 7"?, Mister Twister 8",6" Power Worm,6" ribbed worm, 5'5 Ribbon Tail Worm, another 6" ribbed worm and finally a BPS 5.5" Curl tail Worm.

Top to bottom, Charlie Brewer 4", BPS Floating worm, something i call the crazy worm, and some ribbon, curl tail and Gator tail varieties.

Back in the 70s and 80s….one of the main baits you would see anglers fishing with was a plastic worm, even the guys that only fished with one pole……these take me back John….thanks for sharing

Yeah Jeff, Creme worms are missing here, and I believe that was the start of the plastic worm craze. I'll have to post the Creme worms I have.

The Floating worm with a split shot or a Carolina Rig has produced big Bass and Pickerel for me in the past. I usually throw the white or Brown, but I have Black and Pink surpluses still of these 80's worms.

When the winds up and the Fish are active ,those Ribbon , Curl Tail  and Gator Tail varieties retrieved swimmingly outside and inside the weed lines will get chasing Bass.

In 1949, the same Year the first 45 rpm Vinyl record was released, Nick Creme from Akron Ohio, produced the first Wiggle Worm — later renamed the Scoundrel, My father bought me a tandem rigged Propeller spinner tandem rigged Creme worm way back in my youth..

My favorites through the Years: Manns Jelly Worm, Manns Auger tail, Charlie Brewers 4" on a slider Jig, BPS, Floating Worm Split shotted, BPS 4"Curl Tail (black) Creme Scoundrel, Jersey Rigg worm.
