after drilling multiple holes thru the ice this is typically the first rig i drop down thru the ice. you could use any bait tipping of your choice... im discovering the seeds, gills and perch find the little egg look on the end of the hook irresistible.

the bait sinks quickly and shows up on the sonar readily. able to entice fish throughout the water column.
