Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Getting ready to purchase my first kayak for fishing.  Think I have one picked out - anyone have any thoughts on a Emotion Mojo?  Thanks in advance!

Any kayak will work for fishing. But unless you are part Inuit, I suggest a Sit On Top style.

Fortunately, todays "fishing kayaks" are invariably this very sort. Lots of development and tested safety is built in.

If it is not a SOT, think carefully.

Not one I'm familiar with. But, it looks like a nice yak. I'm more a fan of the hybrids than the SOT. For example the native ultimate. I just love having a open cockpit and elevated seats. If your going to fish salt then I would go with a SOT. Be sure to paddle one before you buy. If you can attend a demo somewhere where you can paddle a variety that would help.
I recently made the leap into the kayak world, many out there to look at,not that many to really choose from. What I mean by that is,list what your requirements are, this will narrow the field considerably. You are going to get many opinions on what to get and that is good. With that said, here is mine, check out a hybrid yak called Nucanoe.I recently purchased a 12' frontier with a fishing package,it offers many accessories, allowing you to set it up to suit your own flavor.Good luck in your purchase, yak fishing is a great way to fish new unreachable spots.
