what's your favorite bluegill? 3 Replies

My favorite bluegill is the coppernose, but I'd like to know in general, under the same conditions, are coppernose bluegill smaller than regular bluegill, or red ear, or pumpkinseed?

Welcome, welcome, welcome to our female bluegillers group. I live in tx also. In Murchison. What border town do you live in? My sister in law is in Anthony, NM but used to live in El Paso.

Fine here. Been fishing most every day. Catching only catfish and GSF so far. What are you up to?

Well, catching small bg is better than nothing. I hope your fishing will start picking up soon.
Good luck.

I've been able to fish, but haven't been successful at all at catching anything but small bg. Also, my trap in the pond still doesn't work even though I think it's an excellent design, lol. No fish in it. So, I'm very depressed

I notice ya'll haven't posted anything in a while. I guess the hot summer days is keeping ya'll off the water. I hope ya'll will be able to get out there soon, in the mean while I will keep posting pics of my weekly fishing trips. Best of luck ladies.
