Here's a pic of the actual fish caught him during my Suwannee River fishing/camping trip a couple weeks ago. He put a up a pretty good fight on my 3wt TFO BVK I was using a #6 crayfish pattern cast on the edge of a current seam, thought I had a really nice Suwannee Bass at first. Fun stuff!

Lee, that's a nice redbreast! I bet that was a blast on the fly rod. Did you catch any others that day? Anything close to the same size? Thanks for posting to the group!!

I was actually targeting Suwannee Bass but caught several large Redbreast in the process almost all of them where 9" and above.

Lee, add your photo to the comment wall on the main group page if you'd like, that's a nice pic!

I added your pic to the main group page Lee, looks great!

That look's like what i catch down here(we call them longears)....

I'm sure there are tons of nicknames for all fish. Long ears and redbreasts aren't the same species though. But heck, they all bend the rod and that's what it's all about!

Was that certificate from the state? Great redbreast Lee!

Great fish Lee ! Congrats on your award!
