No not really, they are a little quicker to make and maybe look a little better to the fisherman, but I seem to get more hook-ups with the red-back. I use both and both work well....If I were being honest, I still prefer the red-back over the cut bodies...(if only by a small margin)..."Good to hear from you Tink"........Don in SC
