Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

I am replacing  treble hooks with single hooks, ala Musky Mod style of bluegill fishing.  I know he recommends having the hook point ride up. I was trying to find the posting that tells what is the up-side of a Kastmaster, but I can't find it.  Can somebody tell me how a Kastmaster rides in the water, so I know how to place the hook.

Thanks

Longer side down.

Acme made Kastmaster Chrome 1/8 oz - 02870052The side facing you is the down side

Thanks for your reply.  Unless I am mistaken, Badgerloader and David have different answers about what side rides down on a Kastmaster.  Badgerloader's pictures show the short side, which he says is the down side.   Anybody else want to offer their opinion.  This is a controversy.

That's easy...go with my answer.
Just kidding.
Research indicates most hook replacements are done with hookpoint to the long side.
Some have noted little difference, however.
Looks like I may have been wrong. my apologies

Not to worry, David.  Actually, if I was fishing upside down, you would be perfectly correct.  And what if I was fishing in the southern hemisphere... one never knows.  Thank you for your help, up or down.

You're gracious, James. Thanks for joining our family.

Here's some rigging info from the spoon guru himself......Bill "Musky" Modica..
