Hello all,

I fish in 4 different states Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana and Michigan (maybe not this year-the non resident license is too expensive now). I find that for me fishing is the best pain management resource I have.

I fish in Indiana.  My area of the state, east Central, is decidedly barren of decent fishing - unless you have a boat, which I don't.  Just getting back in to my favorite pass-time, after a few years off with health issues.  I am lucky enough to have my 'home' lake just a two-minute trip from my driveway, although it is small and very heavily pressured.  I do like to travel to the strip pits in the southwest part of the state every chance I get.  My son and I are planning to try our luck at Atterbury FWA next weekend.

Steve, I live in North Alabama. Most of my fishing over the past several years has been on Wheeler and Wilson Lakes of the Tennessee River in North Alabama with occasional trips to Tims Ford and Dale Hollow Lakes both located in Tennessee. However most of the time I was chasing after Smallmouth Bass. The past couple of years I've been making the transition back to my roots which is pan fishing and primarily searching for blue gill hoping to tie into some of those nice one's like I see posted here on BBG. To that end I will be concentrating primarily on Lake Guntersville and the upper end of Wheeler Lake. Both of these Lakes hold quality fish.
I am an old Indiana boy and hit the waters from Lake Michigan to the ohio river. I am not faithful to one particular species and jump at any chance to fish anywhere for anything. Where I go the most is indiana's largest reservoir--- lake Monroe.

Is there a decent Bluegill fishing place in western Ohio? Darke or Mercer Counties especially...

I just moved to TN so I have only fished Williamsport lake. Caught some good catfish and some pan fish
I have been fortunate to have fished some of the great trout and Smallmouth streams in the lower 48. Most of my time is spent in the Ozarks rivers of Missouri and Arkansas. For Bluegill I head to southern Illinois.
I'll be fishing in Mossiouri towards the end of July on the Current River, that's where I chopped my teeth as a wee one with my grandpa. I love it

This is where I would like to get back to this summer , it's 1/4 mile south of the Missouri state line in

Arkansas,on the Current River , notice the lilly pads in the eddy on the left , this was taken Memorial  Weekend.   LOFR

Man I love fishing the current river, we mostly just float fish with the current and catch smallies and pan fish

I have a trip planned on the Strawberry River floating  this summer doing the same .   LOFR

Eastern Missouri here I fish bayous off the Mississippi River and Missouri river and small creeks and ponds from 5 to 40 acres  in St Louis county and St Charles county lots of gills and crappies available .
