Lake Perris is a great Bluegill fishery and not expensive. $8.00 to get your car in and $3.00 to fish off the dock. Renting a boat is expensive however, about $75.00 for the day. Fishing from a float tube is your best alternative and a very good one... this time of year.
As far as Bass lakes... Perris - Lake Castaic - Lake Casitas - Peru and Barret. Barret is near San Diego and an incredible fishery but it's not cheap to fish there. They only open it a few days a week and you get your tickets from Blockbuster.
