Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

  First let me tell you that for the first 3 Rendezvous  it was GREAT  ,meeting the people that I chat with everyday on BBG and the eating , the fun , the fish catching , everything has been  Great.   I picked the location because it is the center of the population of the country, and we have had people drive 10 hours or more to get to one , Kudos to them , I hope they had as much fun as I did.  The reason I chose the Rendezvous Style over the fishing tournament was that if it was a tournament people would hold their fishing knowledge close to the vest  vs people getting together and sharing their know how . The people that have shown up so far have been some of the finest people I have ever met , quality folks with quality knowledge,people this is fun.

   

    Ok here is the secret,   we started this 3 years ago as a reason to get together,  and I know some folks would like to come but the distance they would have to travel is prohibited, so this is what I suggest  , We should have Regional Rendezvous in different parts of the Country. I know there is enough  people in Ohio , Minnesota,  Michigan, and Illinois that yall can have your own Rendezvous , Hint , You dont need my permission. Bruce is thinking about one in Nebraska  , and we should have one on the West Coast  too , and I will attending the first Rendezvous in Louisiana.   People this is so much fun, some one in each Region should pick up the ball and run with it . We dont have to have just one Rendezvous a year , we should have Regional Rendezvous , this might get more people together, if they want too but others have to be interested in starting a Rendezvous in their Region, If not us Good Old Boys in the South will have to show you how to do it , so pay attention , We have already rented the Cabins for next year  !  LOFR

 IM ALL FOR; A FALL BALL AT BRUCES !!  FREE FOOD;; FREE LIVE MUSIC;; AND FREE BEER ! LOL                                   BUT;; LIKE LORD OF THE FLY RODS SAYS;; ITS UP TO EACH REGION TO HAVE A RENDEVOUZ. AT THE ONES I HAVE ATTENDED;; MORE PURE FUN; THAN ANY ONE COULD POSSIBLY IMAGINE !   TO ACTUALLY MEET; THE FOLKS ; THAT WE MEET ON LINE WITH HERE; GET TO FISH WITH THEM;;  HAVE SOME GOOD OLD FASHION FUN;;  WISH EVERYBODY COULD ATTEND ONE; SOME WHERE !  ( PREFERABLY OURS !! )   REDNECK COUNTRY BOYS; KNOW HOW TO HAVE FUN !

It was worth the trip for sure. Though something closer to home would be awesome.
