Season 1 cup A.P. flour to taste with seasoned salt and black pepper.
Beat 1 egg with 1/4 cup water.
Lightly flour fillets then dip into egg wash then into Panko bread crumbs.
Pan fry or deep fry ( be gentle ) until golden brown. Sprinkle lightly with salt
Spread your favorite tartar sauce on a soft sub, pile high with fillets. You are now ready. Enjoy!
Don't get any on your forehead or your tongue will beat your brains out trying to get at it.
P.s. Tartar sauce: salad dressing, pickle relish, dried dill weed and a touch of lemon juice.
