Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Just received a Palm Rod as a gift and I'm trying to figure out what to put on the tip. Rod is about 9 inches long and I know I need some type of spring bobber. Not sure what type to get. My plan is add 2lb test and a 1/200 trout magnet jig.

Image result for palm rod

I'm thinking of tipping with Little Atom micro plastics . Any suggesting would be appreciated

im no expert but i use the Marmish palm style ice rods and they have their own spring type system

Thanks. I'll check out the site

I DON'T USE THAT TYPE OF ROD BUT HERE'S A GOOD SOURCE FOR WHAT YOU NEED. CHECK OUT THE TUNGSTEN WOLFGRAM JIGS AS WELL.

Thank you, I use them for ASSO  line and little Atom plastics. I thought the indicators they sold were just for their palm rod. Guess they are universal

interesting hardware there Joe!... used to use spring bobbers years ago... now for me super lines and extremely sensitive rods and electronics have taken their place. i like the feel of the bite on a sensitive system.

but this hardware definitely looks fun!

Trying a bit of an experiment. Can't see why it would not work for sight micro fishing under the rod tip. A nine inch  set up would fit nice in my lunch box tackle box. I have everything but the indicator and I'll order that this weekend. Dock fishing should be a blast if it works
