I've been into Japanese cuisine lately and was planning to use a whole fish fried over some Udon. Anyone cooked the whole fish? -guts and scales, that is... Place a slash in the deepest part of the flesh, dust the fish in potato starch, fry in peanut oil till crispy.
The dish is usually done with small mackrel but I've been playing around lately :p
