Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

I realize this may have been covered before now, and I’ve missed it. So bear with me...

But I've been wondering how much time the members of BBG actually spend fishing.

Myself, for example, I make time to go at least once a week. I’ll go more if the opportunity presents itself.

Others may be retired - or independently wealthy - and may go everyday, anyday.

Still others may be more interested in going fishing than actually making the time to go.

For each of us, it is somewhere within this range.

So what is it for you?

Wow great story Andre!
I used to go more than once a week (evenings after work mostly), but since I've been sick and in and out of the hospital, I've gotten more heat sensitivie, and am lucky if I go once a weekend.  Also here in sunny Georgia, the heat has been upper 90s to 100+ and it's just uncomfortable for me.  Wish I could go like I used to.  Nick Holr
But its a good crazy. And it beats some of the *other* stuff you could be doing...
I go 2-3 times/week. Usually one weekday after work and one or both weekend days! Not enough would be the better answer!
I've been on a weeks vacation so I've been out about 5 times to 4 different lakes....all within 20 minutes of my home....Blessed with a lot of fishable smaller lakes here in northern Minnesota....Usually only fish for about 4-5 hours on each outing....Usually once a week or so all spring summer and fall ...Just depends on the weather also....Canoes and wind just don't mix
