Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Tune: All my exes live in Texas, by George Strait

Are my bluegill anorexic
when I feed them gourmet food?
Do they fear I will eat them?
I would never be so crude

I have tossed food round the edges
of my quarter acre pond
I have thrown it under hedges
but it seems we can not bond

I have slung it in the middle
hoping they'll get plump and long
But they chose to stay real little
and laugh at the dinner "bong"

You might have a strain of bluegill in your pond that are slow, you know "little bus " slow, most bluegill are pretty smart , they hang out in schools.
Now those bluegill are not anorexic
Neither are they slow like you know who
They're just young and still a learnin'
One day, they will break your line in two

A broken line can break your heart girl
Especially when you get to see them swirl
Then pow! Their gone and you're left wonderin'
Big Bluegill, what have I ever done to you

Patience now, our little Texas darlin'
It's your pond, it'll be what you want it to be
Till then, just keep on with the feedin'
One day, Big Gill will reside at the top of your string
That's hilarious. :-)
now that funny. I don't care who you are that funny
