those are some nice piks
Thanks Chris.. but I wish IWGill would put his bigger pickerel pic photos up and Nathan too.
I am lookin for a North East camraderie here.
ill have to invite him
yes please do invite Ice Warrior Gill and Nathan Krusko also! They both seem to be into Pickerel and are from the Northeast. Both from NY I believe.

Spoons like the Johnson Silver Minnow with a tube or twister tail glued as a trailer, Dardevles of all sizes; Acme Flutter Spoons and Little Cleos .These take the most pickerel for me .Sometimes its better to use a Spinnerbait  but real cold water after ice out a bucktail jig in a small size is the ticket .I like to fish fast for pickerel if water temp and activity dictates but they do react to slow better sometimes .

Late May Pickerel Lures. That's an 8" Sluggo ! Pickerel are aggressive in May for sure .Favorite lures  this year are Spinner baits, 6 and 8 " Sluggos and these two spinners.

sorry, it's a  6" Sluggo....the 4.5 " earlier in the spring

2016 it's been Sluggos and Spinnerbaits catching a mess of Pickerel over and in early shallow weeds and pads  .
