Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

First let me say that the weather patterns this spring has got all my fishing water messed up, work has got me so tied down I feel like a sled dog, everybody I know is graduating from some kind of school, and want you to attend,I feel like I have no free time that is not spoken for, and I'm ready for bed, bream bed, that is the only thing I think that can reduce the stress in my life . The backyard will be dry enought to pull the boat up front and get it ready, I've cleaned my rods and tackle , I'm ready. If the sporting good stores closed there doors tomorrow, I feel like I have enought tackle to last me the rest of my life . My Uncle died 15 years ago, he loved to fish and this wednesday I inherited his fishing tackle which has been in storage for 15 years. It consisted of the history of fishing for the previous 60 years in 4 large tackle boxes. Some of the lures will never see water again,It's quite a treat to see how fishing has evolved in the last 80 years,so now I think it's my job to keep everything fish ready and organized. I guess it just my OCD, and one day someone will say WOW look what I just got I wish I had time to go fish.

Oh, yeah. I wish I had that old steel telescoping fly rod I had when I was 15. Couldn't cast worth a damn, but it would hang on to a fish! Some of the stuff you have belongs in one of those picture boxes on the wall.

Old fishin' gear, gotta love it. Nothing better than dragging it out on a day not fit for fishing(whatever that may be !) and cracking a beer and enjoying the memories. Have gear from my Dad, uncle, and my Dad-n-law that lives here with me. Heck, some of my gear is 30+ plus yrs old. steve b
