You are welcome to bring your own rod and tackle. If we didn't say that we supply the tackle then some people would show up with their 20 year old Ugly Stick and Zebco with the same line that came on it when it was brand new. I would spend most of the morning dealing with a sub-par setup that would possible mess up the whole day. But if you have quality gear that you just love to fish with, we say bring it. If it's crap don't be offended when I hand you my good stuff.

Can I bring my Crimson poles? And LOFR's special Boogieman Crimson Quills? The website clearly says they want to furnish what I get to fish with. I think I was to be allowed one favorite fly rod. There ain't a fly rod in the world I would trade for my Crimson Pole. Or a jig for a cricket. I really did say forget it because of the all inclusive packages. Of course, I never called and begged for an exception. I just stayed in my local favorite holes, where there are no gates to make my experience more enjoyable, in the gate keepers eyes. So, how strict are the rules about how to fish for bluegill there?

lol. Why bring your own when we have an unlimited supply already there for you. :)

Looks like fun Gene. Would love to catch them on my 1-weight fly rod and Hardy fly weight reel. You sure those fish aren't trained? While I was watching I was imagining gills that size, a bed of spatter docks and dry flies. Good stuff!
