I soked up the article in In Fisherman today and thouroughly enjoyed it. I appreciate how you presented Gill fishing in the article and thought it represented us Gill Getters very well. I also thought you approached conservation in a very tasteful way. We all love to eat Gills and we all want to catch that 2+ lber. but that won't happen if we don't take care of the resource and practice a little catch and release. After reading the article I was proud to be apart of the Bigbluegill.com community. Thanks for being a good abmassador for our sport.

I can make fun of ya guy now but when it's 101 in the shade down here, then it'll be your turn to rub it in on me. lol One of the items on my bucket list is to come up there and ice fish one time just to say I did. Hope the snow lets up and you can get back at them. As far as retirement my wife is high maintainest I'll be at it another 10 years if I'm lucky. I believe the fish here are conditioned to extreme cold. -15 will be a warm spell up here, come Feburary! It would a good time to tie some hair jigs! I have been practicing my fly tying skills during this -40 at night business! It is possible to catch fish when it is that cold out! The question lies with how well you can handle it...LOL! I would get a same collection of ice jigs and Gulp! waxies and head for the deep weedline edge!
