I'm going to be cleaning the SURPRISE catfish for the next couple hours. I swear I've never caught a single catfish in moms lake in years of fishing... but last night they were all I could catch... the bream have moved shallow on the other side of the lake, and I guess they chased out the catfish??? I'm borrowing a john boat this evening, when the shadows hit the water and it's cooler. Got to get on the beds!

Looks like a good group of dedicated fisherman. I live north of Chicago and been ice fishing the past 2 weeks. I have a few great early ice spots that are good producers. I'm experimenting with plastics and getting some interesting results.
