My Name Is Marisa And Im A 13 Year Old Girl That Loves To Fish . My Dream As Silly As It May Seem To Some Is To Be Able To Buy A cheap Aluminum Boat That Has A Cheap Trollin Motor On It At This Age . I Like Fishing At The Docks But Two Weeks Ago I Saw A Person My Age With There Dad With A Small Aluminum Boat With A Trollin Motor And It Just Gave Me An Idea That I Think Im Able To Try To Do Something like That Too ! Its A Project im Working On But Still I Have No Supplies That I Need To Do This . Well This Message Is Trully About If Any Of You Peolpe Know Or May Have A Small Aluminum Boat Or Trolling Motor That You Dont Use Anymore Or Is Just Taking Up Room In Your Yard Would You Please COnsider Selling It To Me For A Decent Price If So Please Reply ! I see small jon boats around here for around 100 dollars and have picked up a couple of trolling motors for less than 50$. The Boats need some work sometimes but thats part of it. Get the best battery you can afford so you can fish longer.

SO you want a boat - and not just something to get on the water with. I was thinking  a

fishing kayak would be pretty inexpensive, although not really "boatish."

 

Have you tried Freecycle, on yahoo.groups? You might have some luck there.. Here's the freecycle group from my locale. Poke around the tabs until you figure out how to find the one in your area. Join it and then just ask!

....and some of the 9.5 to 10 footers fit in the back of a pickup truck.  No need for trailoring.

We love our 10 foot fiberglass.  Plenty big for two fishermen...as long as you don't over do the tackle and snacks.
