Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Early morning hunting (oop's) fishing trip 8/14

0500 8/14 wake up and gear up for the lil fishies.

Howdy Y'all only way to beat the heat is get up before it starts.

We went to Lake Norfork and woke up the lil fishies with breakfast in the waterbed.

But they were late sleepers at least the big ones were.

Kathy hit her first of 2 9" BG's at 0845 and the last one about 0915, other than pecker fish and turtles that was the gran total of keepers for this mornings juant.

Weather was cool in the high 70's at sunrise no wind by the time Kathy had caught her first bigun it was getting warm in the 80's and still no breeze.

The wind picked up by the time her second one was on shore it was light out of the SE and not much help.

We still caught fish but no keepers and the turtles kept comming so I donated one to the chum pile rocks I set up so we could coax in a few kitty's for later this evening.

We called it a morning at 1100 so we could tend some chores.

I'll post pic's of Kathy's catch so all my enjoy them as do we.
