Comment by bluegillboogieman on January 9, 2010 at 9:07am: I of course found Alabama's ranking right off and tried to figure out what the numbers meant. I saw that 66% were repeaters and I knew I was one and visited several times a day usually. I knew Mayo was a ball hog too so I figured he and I accounted for a large part of the 3,000+ visits from Bama. Bill Barr is a fairly new member from Bama and I notice he is often online here when I visit. There aren't many other regular members from Bama I'm aware of who hang around. I am making simple assumptions but it does seem like a very few of us from Bama have to account for most of those visits. Then I looked at the much higher repeat numbers and total visits from Nebraska and naturally blamed most of them on you Bruce.

I'm not really into analyzing spreadsheets, but I do find this info interesting. Especially when I look at it from a personal veiwpoint knowing what I know about how often I visit the site. Then I look at Maryland and wonder why they are so far behind Bama in number of visits. That's where Gronaw is from and he has to be on here much more than all the Bama boys put together. So now I don't know what to think about these numbers.

WAIT! Now I get it. Gronaw is the only member from Maryland and he single handedly put the whole state on the map!

If it's not a whole lot of trouble for you Bruce, I'd like to see next years report and compare.

On a side note but related. I asked Ning to fix it so I could sort members by state on the members page. They said the site administrator ( Bruce Almighty ) would have to change the settings and make state a required answer from new members and ask all existing members to make sure they edit their own settings and list a state. Then it could be done.

Comment by Bruce Condello on January 9, 2010 at 7:14am: I located this information on "Google Analytics" homepage. I'm sure we've got a pretty hardcore group of BBG lovers here in Nebraska. Lots of repeat offenders. It's not on a real spreadsheet unfortunately.

Over 4 hours per day visiting this site. Bruce, you're addicted to surfing the site and need professional help.

Is this info on an actual spreadsheet cause I'm addicted to them and I could try to figure out what is wrong with Rhode Island and New Mexico, when I ain't surfin' with you.
