Wow! My 7 year old (CJ) and I headed to a local pond to catch a couple Largemouth Bass for a species contest we entered for the month of May. Little did we know what was about to happen. CJ's first cast hooked a monster 9 inch Bluegill. We then paddled out on the kayak to a spot to fish Largemouth. No luck. I tied on CJ's favorite, a silver Panther Martin spinner.
