Kip...I don't recall if responded back about your tips for shellcrackers (redear sunfish). That's great advice, and I appreciate your help!
I figure they'll be easier to locate & fish for if I can get to them while they're shallow, plus the big ones will be more accessible ( I usually fish from shore, but I also have a fishing kayak now, after I sold my fishing boat last summer). So, your tip that they usually bed in deeper water than bluegills will be very important in my search next year. Thanks again!
