What type of animal is a bluegill?
I don't have a pond but I have a four year old bluegill that calls a tank her home. I've have had her for little over a four years. I caught her in a bucket one night when she was about the size of a quarter while gathering water to put out a campfire.
She looks delicious this I know. But please refrain from making any "mmm tastey" comments on her pictures. She has wiggled herself deep down into my heart and I care for her like a momma would her child.
I've taken care of her and watched her grow since she was a baby and hope so bad that we have many years left together!
She is hand fed wax worms daily and also eat flake food yet. Her best friend is a koi!
What state are you from? This can help us get together for fishing trips!
Wisconsin

You asked if any of us owned a bluegill. I don't have any in an aquarium. Most of the people here who do, use them for bait. How big is your bluegill? What color?

If I get out the remainder of July it will probably be a crappie stalk on the coastal marsh……
