Bluegill spawning: effects of ice
I dont see water temperatures getting to the right temp untill very late, we still have between 30 and 40 inches of ice on lake winnebago. I never remember that much ice in march, usually april the ice is gone.

I love to ice fish. The more ice the better. I do agree with your comment though.
